Bank Zachodni WBK SA ("Bank"), headquartered in Wrocław, became the successor of the Warsaw-based Kredyt Bank SA as a result of a merger. The Bank owns websites such as www.bzwbk.pl, www.kredytbank.pl, and transactional services: www.centrum24.pl, ibiznes24.pl, www.kb24.pl, www.kbnet.pl (hereinafter referred to as "website") and can be contacted at email@example.com. The bank attaches particular importance to respecting the privacy of service users by applying the principles set forth in the Personal Data Protection Act of 29 August 1997 (Journal of Laws of 2002. No. 101, item. 926 as amended thereafter).
We store HTTP requests sent to our server which means that we know the public IP addresses from which users browse the content of the website. The web content browsed by the users is identified by URLs. We also identify the request and response dates and times, the name of the user station (identification is performed by the HTTP protocol), the information about errors that occurred during the execution of the HTTP transaction, traffic sources, i.e. the URL of the page previously visited by the user as long as the user was redirected to the website through a hyperlink and information about the type and version of the user browser.
The website also contains contact forms where personal data needed to handle the user questions, comments and requests are collected. We only ask for data to provide the requested services and process the for the time needed to deliver the service.
We primarily use data for statistical purposes, to see how often each webpage is visited. We use this data to improve the content and functionality of our websites, to remember how each visitor uses our services and to facilitate browsing the website content. This helps us tailor the content to better suit the user’s needs.
